Prices are coming down on solar power because of the demand for the Solar panels.

You will spend alot of money and will have to install big solar panels. But you can surely run your fan on it. Many places in India have solar powered water heaters on housetops. THe CSE, Delhi is a big office that is so solarpowered that it is partially run on both sun and elecy.I am thinking of installing a solar power water heater on my 200 sq. m. house rooftop in Noida.

it's cheaper to buy a solar ran windmill and hook it up to your a/c unit..... So that when there is no wind the sun will create power top generate power for your wind mill and your windmill can make and you can store extra power in cells for t those hot nights so you can use your a/c.
