  1. Yes you can, do some research to find the proper size of solar panel, install and your off.  You may need more than one check the web sites that have the best prices.

Prices are coming down on solar power because of the demand for the Solar panels.

  2. You will spend alot of money and will have to install big solar panels. But you can surely run your fan on it. Many places in India have solar powered water heaters on housetops. THe CSE, Delhi is a big office that is so solarpowered that it is partially run on both sun and elecy.I am thinking of installing a solar power water heater on my 200 sq. m. house rooftop in Noida.

  3. it is not possible

  4. Yes if you are ready to spend $9000

  5. yes

but presently the costs  to install such a big solar panel is heavy

  6. it's cheaper to buy a solar ran windmill and hook it up to your a/c unit..... So that when there is no wind the sun will create power top generate power for your wind mill and your windmill can make and you can store extra power in cells for t those hot nights so you can use your a/c.

  7. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on a solar panel, you could save almost as much electricity by planting some trees at strategic locations around the house.  The shade will reduce the amount of work the AC has to do, and in the winter when they shed their leaves the sun will shine through.  This technique is one of many "passive solar" strategies where the sun is used to reduce energy bills without adding much in the way of up-front costs.

  8. The panel size will be very Big . I am sure in few years from now there will be cheaper Solar Cells and then you can !
