Can i use someone elses credit card?

I don't have a credit card in my own name and i was trying to send my gf an im sorry bouquet of roses and chocolates.. so my friend said i could use her card. but i'm concerned it'll look fraudulent because i used her card but for billing information it has my address and name. should i call the flower store and explain the situation so it doesn't look sketchy?

yeah you should be able to use the credit card my friend use to allow me to make purchases on his credit card all the time.

I think your friend should go with you to make that purchase simply because there is so much security now on credit cards.  Anyone could go into a store and tell them what you just said, the store owner won't believe you and I know they will not let you use that card.  Your friend will have to be there.  You don't want to take a chance of getting in trouble even though you have her permission.  Just play it safe.  I wish you the best.  That is so nice of you to send your gf that gift.  We need more people like you and I'm sure your gf will feel the same.  Be blessed.  Good luck

No if they need to they will contact you or the owner of the card. There are many people in your situation who order with other people's credit card (that is why they ask whose name is on the credit card) and send it to various addresses as long as the card is valid and not flagged by the credit card company and/or reported stolen there will be no problems.

Legally you have no right to use someone else's credit card. Sometimes a merchant will let you do that anyway. You can ask. It's their risk. If you're doing the transaction online, you can just fill in the owner's information correctly as the buyer and still have the gifts sent to another person. Some online merchants won't do that, but most will take the risk.

you can use someone else`s card with their permission.If the store or florist have any questions make sure you got all the info or have them call the person themselves.
