  1. Pretty well all the 1 day lenses are the same as their 2 week lens, except for Focus 1day...

Focus/Freshlook 1 day lenses are the only ones that are of a different material than their 2 week lens and are much more flimsy, therefore not lasting as long.

The Acuvue, Biomedics, Soflens, proclear, are all the identical lens to their 2 week version.

So, if they are stored in disinfecting solution and cleaned like a 2 week lens, they will last.

  2. if its good for one day...just wear it for one day...if you dont follow instructions your eyes may be at risk..

  3. It all depends on the number of hours in the day u use them.  I have two weeks disposables, and I use them up to one month, because I don't use them everyday.  I suppose u can get rid of yours when u start to fill the irritation.  Once u begin to feel it uncomfortable, it's time to throw them away.

  4. My optician told me yesterday that disposable one day lenses can only be worn once. They are not to be reused at all.

  5. yes I think you can. I was told by the eye Dr that the disposables are really all the same just the instructions differ. The dailies may be thinner than the other ones. I am sure it will be fine I have ones that should be changed every two weeks and I wear them for months! When they bother me I put  new ones in. I have done this for years and there is no medical side effects I have seen nor has the Dr said my eyes were damaged.
