Can i use the mobile alerts for yahoo in canada?

I used to get alerts no problem through my blackberry services but just switched to a treo 750 through rogers . i went to yahoo mobile to setup my yahoo alerts and only US cell providers were in the dropdown field. is this feature not available for canadians or is there a separate set-up url for canada.

im not quite sure what the set-up URL is but im pretty sure theres a sepereate one for Canada.
