  1. Wikipedia can be edited by just about anyone, so it can have some bad information.  However, you can use it to help find other sources - just check the sources that the writers are using.

  2. If your professor permitted you to use Wikipedia, most of the people in the class will probably use it, so he asked you not to use Wiki as a guide.

  3. its not realiable, it can be edit by everyone. and there are not alot of  case studies in wikipedia.. you should try using chem journals that can be found online.. if you are in a university, use ebscohost.. you need a password and username though.. check if your school library is subscribe to this..

  4. It isn't reliable and if everybody uses it, all of the chemistry case study work will be identical.

  5. Wikipedia is perfectly fine...

You should be allowed to use it.

  6. Although Wikipedia is loaded with tons of information, not all of it is necessarily true because people have the ability to write and change things found in the definition. This is because the website is created by web users like us. Anyone can add or modify any definition in Wikipedia, thus, it may not contain 100% true information.

  7. It's not true that Wikipedia is not reliable, but it is true that someone told you that you couldn't use it. If that person is doing the grading, you should conform. But while you're not doing work that will be graded, you should feel free to learn about chemistry and use convenient reliable sources such as Wikipedia. When you find a mistake in Wikipedia and correct it using a reliable source that can be a part of your learning experience.

  8. i get told that 2 and not really cause any1 can edit it
