  1. I don't see why not.  That salmon would taste a lot better on a charcoal grill.

  2. bring these to a boil in a small pan on the stove top and coat your salmon and cook as you would in the micro.....you should adjust to your liking...taste it and if you need something more add it.

    3 tablespoons brown sugar

    1 tablespoon soy sauce

    4 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar or balsamic or what you have (just add a little more sugar for plain vinegars)

  3. This is the easiest and the best. I love my Salmon and I love it more with a Bourbon Marinade on it.

Mix some Light Sodium Soy Sauce with some brown sugar and make a marinade. Add a sprinkle or two of garlic for taste. Marinade for about an hour or two and microwave until done.

If you have Bourbon, use it by all means but you will get the same affect without it.

While I agree the grill or pan seared would be better than a microwave, you can microwave this and it still taste great.

  4. Seared Salmon with Orange Glaze Recipe

    Ingredients:

6 (6 ounces each) salmon fillets, skinned if desired

1 Tablespoon sesame oil, preferably untoasted

    3 teaspoons low-sodium soy sauce

    1/4 cup white wine

    1 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice

1 teaspoon grated or minced orange zest

    3 Tablespoons sherry

1/2 teaspoon peeled, grated or minced ginger root

    2 thin slices orange, unpeeled

Have ready a glass baking dish large enough to hold salmon in a single layer.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat sesame oil. Add salmon and sear, turning once, 1 minute on each side. You should hear fish sizzle. Transfer salmon to baking dish and drizzle with soy sauce and wine. Transfer to oven and roast 10 minutes until cooked through and flakes easily.

Meanwhile, in a nonreactive small saucepan over medium-high heat, heat orange juice and zest, sherry, and ginger. Simmer, stirring frequently, about 15 minutes until sauce is reduced by half and thickened. Add orange slices and cook, stirring once or twice. Remove from heat. Transfer salmon to individual plates, drizzle with sauce and serve immediately.
