Can i use two tv magmount antennas on my car for improved reception on freeview.?

  1. You can of course do what you want with your own car. But mounting two antennas to improve Freeview reception would seem a little extreme. The important thing if you are installing TV reception in your car  the monitor must be mounted in such a way as not to be visible from the driver's seat (even via the rear view mirror) when the car is in motion.


  2. If you mount 2 T.V antennae on your car they will act like a "beam" aerial and be directional in nature, so you will get better reception when they are both in line with the transmitter, and no or very poor reception the rest of the time. This is the same for all aerial installations, whether static or mobile. "Twin Trucker CB aerials work in the same way, transmitting more to front & rear than to the sides.
