  1. I don"t see why not, but it won't solve your mildew problem. Tyvek is strictly an infiltration barrier. IE it stops air penetration. It is not a vapor barrier. You should probably clean all the mildew with trisodium phosphate before installing drywall. Then if you use any insulation, make sure the vapor barrier (paper) is facing the living area. After the project is finished it would be a good idea to run a dehumidifier in the space to prevent further mildew problems.

  2. u can but i dont think it will stop the mildew......its not a weather proof material it does breath......u need to fnd out why the mildew and correct it there.....

  3. I do not know what cubderblock is, neither does Google. But I am supposing that this is a wall made of a cementous product something like a CMU--concrete masonary unit, cinder block, etc...why not look for that paint on mositure barrier, DryLock

You use it to paint interiors of basements in the USA.

    It works. Link below.

Also, if you can find it, Aluminum paint can be an effective mositure barrier.

My boyfriend and I once brush painted an old Cadillac hearse with aluminum paint and made red and yellow stripes on it. A trooper stopped us to see what we were up to !! It was the '60's. We looked like a finned rocket ship rambling thru Alabama highways :o)
