Can i use vermiculite in my snakes viv?

  1. No, it's a high impaction risk.

    I recommend plain aged newpaper, or Carefresh (digestible paper product).

  3. no for burms cypress mulch (forest floor by zoo med) is the best...something that holds humidity.  

  4. No! Vermiculite is very popular for incubating eggs, and is also great for tarantulas, but is bad for snakes other than ones fresh out of the egg. It is toxic if eaten, which easily happens since it will stick to the food item. Try something else such as cypress mulch, which you can get very cheap at Home Depot.
