Can i use well water for my frogs?

My friend is watching my frogs while i go on vacation and i want to know if she can use well water? She told me that it has a lot of iron in it so i am not sure wut she shoud do....... resoond to this question asap please!

  1. well chances r the water is fine but I'd use a different water source just in case


  2. Depending on the type of frogs, most likely the iron shouldn't be a problem. I would recommend filtering it or getting an additive that reduces iron levels. First I would try just adding a small amount of the water, monitor the frogs behavior, and if nothing changes you should be safe. Overall though, I believe it would be easier to just use RO water (reverse osmosis) if you have any doubts.
