  1. I do not recommend using the whitening mouthwash while you have braces on.  Here's why...The mouthwash will only whiten (if it actually does whiten) the parts of your teeth that are exposed.  So when you get your braces off there will be yellow spots where your brackets used to be.  To keep your teeth not only clean and as white as possible, but also healthy I suggest using an orthodontic toothbrush (made especially for patients with braces) and getting a floss threader so you can floss your teeth (I know...you probably hate flossing, but trust me it's well worth the time and effort!).  Also you say that your braces are clear, that leads me to think that your teeth actually aren't yellower, it's just that the braces are "whiter".  It's an optical illusion almost. You think your teeth are yellower just because of the "whiter" object next to them.  Or maybe they actually are changing in color.  There are some foods that could be staining your teeth, like tea, berries, coffee or fruit juices.  If you eat or drink any of those foods just rinse with water or brush your teeth right after.

  3. You might not want to..  if the braces are put on with an adhesive, everything gets white but where the bracket is.. then when they are removed, you'll have the spot a different color.
