Can i view the meteor shower on August 12 here in the philippines?

It is not possible to view meteor showers on August 12 here in Philippines. It's on August 13, considering the time zones.

According to the website, science.mikelopez.info, the peak of the shower is expected to come on August 12 at 11pm, Pacific Time (-8GMT). So that means, that would be arond August 13, 3pm here in Philippines. The bad thing is that the peak comes when the Sun's up. So, the best time for Philippine-based watchers, like me, is from August 13, 12mn to 4am.

Since the meteor shower happens on the new moon, it will be a great show!
