this wedding isn't very formal (there will be no hats!) but still a little formal and i'm a bit short on cash so i'm wondering if i'd be able to wear a purple print maxi dress? i've never worn it yet (well, to the SATC movie lol) but it does look very nice. i was thinking of large wooden bangles and wedges as accessories. what do you think?

  1. I haven't heard the term maxi dress in years! :)

Check the time of day, venue and try to find out what bridesmaids are wearing. You would not want to be dressed more formally than the bride or her party.

  2. It sounds lovely - go for it.

  3. I think that sounds really nice. You could accessorise it to make it a bit more formal and maybe even get some jewelled gladiator sandals or something to go with it and a nice shrug.

  4. I think that would look nice.

  5. Because the wedding isn't formal, that should be fine. :)

  6. No problem at all, all eyes will be on the bride as you know and I am sure you will look wonderful.

Dont worry about it at all I am sure your smile and good wishes for the happy couple will be enough.

  7. Yep thats fine. I'm sure it looks very nice!

  8. 1.- maxi dress.. totally in

    2.- purple ... totally in

    3. combined... must be so feminine and stylish

bangles and wedges will be a perfect way to round it off. the bigger the bangles the better, stack them good big earings too ( matching the bangles preferably). if you can find a broard 'under the b***s' belt it'll look so cashmere mafia. up hair do lushes lashes and neautral pout.

if you really want to glam up this casual look turn the wooden jumbo bangles into gold, the belt and earings too. x*x

  9. Sure =] You will look great, go for it!
