Can i wear shalwaar kameez to the valima

Depends, is it another segregated one? If it's segregated, wear anything. I went to a walima today, and the only people who wore shalwaar kameez were the uncles..

EDIT: Well if it's not segregated, then you should dress to impress (if you're not married) wear a suit, but only wear this if you have a nice expensive suit. Cheap suits look so tacky. If not, then stick to shalwaar kameez, modestly at its best.

EDIT: By the way, do you have matching Batta chappals to go with the shalwaar kameez?

Yes, of course you can! I went to my cousin's valima, and a lot of guys were wearing shalwar kameez, and a lot were wearing formal clothing, as well. You can ask your mom what she thinks you should wear too :)

Weddings/Walima  i've been 2 a couple boys tend to wear salwar kameez, but my cousin bruva's like to wear their so called expensive suits i say it's from dog market LOl (Bricklane) in London With pink ties (my fav!!!) LOl, depends which do you feel more comfortable in or which you like best.
