Can i wear slipper to church & When is the last train depart from Venice to Mestre?

Hi all, may i know whether i can wear slipper to visit those church in Rome, milan and Venice? In Venice, i will be staying in Mestre and intend to take train to Venice city, so may i know when is the last train depart from venice to Mestre so i can plan ahead.

Yes, you can wear slippers. You must keep you shoulders covered and you shouldn't wear shorts or a mini-skirt.

yes, I think you can wear slippers  but no shorts, as you may already know.

All train leaving Venice for any destination stop in Mestre (avoid IC and ES trains, that require an expensive supplement)

Anyway, for your info, there are two bus night lines serving Venice to Mestre from Piazzale Roma so it shouldn't be a problem.
