Can i wear white on my wedding day?

ok. so i have allways planned on going down the isle in a white gown.

i plan on having a black tie dress code. but, i am marrying a female. i love her. my family loves her. its just, im scared that ppl would think its innapropriate for me to wear a white gown. would you still wear it?

Yes regardless of the situation it is still your day shine. I had 4 kids when I got married it was my 1st marriage I got the biggest white dress I could fine train and lace was everywhere.

yes wear what you want! it's your day (and your partners)!  I've been to one formal (black tie if you will) same s*x wedding ceremony (I was about 8) but one woman wore a dress and the other wore a tux..either way, you should both do what you want...this is a day for the TWO OF YOU.  good luck, and congratulations!!

the whole white gown thing is old tradition that is rarely practiced anymore.  my cousin has 5 kids by 7 fathers and she wore white in her most recent wedding.

it's your wedding... the only other person who has a say in what you wear that day is your fiance... if she's ok with it, who cares what other people think?
