Can i whip my cream with a egg whisker?

I just brought cream for my strawberry shortcake im about to cook one and i need to whip the cream but i dont have a eletric beater can i whip my cream with a egg whisker? i brought one of them today.

I don't think you will be able to do it by hand.You have to beat it too long and too hard if you try to do it by hand.You said that you don't have an electric beater but you can use a electric hand mixer or even a blender.

yes. but your arm might get a bit tired.. If i were you, I'd use your mixer

Where I live, an egg whisk is not the same thing as an egg beater.  So if what you are using is really an egg whisk, I doubt that you will be able to whip enough air into the cream fast enough before the cream gets warm.  Cream really needs to be cool to whip well.  If you have an inexpensive egg beater around, you know, one of those things where you crank or rotate a wheel to turn the beater or beaters, that will work because it whips air in fairly fast. Don't worry though because no matter how you beat the cream, or how fluffy it gets, it's going to taste the same basically.   Try a little powdered sugar or low-cal substitute in the cream after beating it to sweeten it a bit.  Yum!

Yes but it will seem to take forever and the thicker you want it, the longer it will take.

Yes but remember to wash it really well with soap and hot water to remove any trace of oil before you start.

You have to move the egg whisker real fast. You will see that the cream starts to form.  At this point ;you can add a little white powder or regular sugar, continue whisking and you will soon have sweet whipped cream - ever so fattening but enjoy!
