i feel sorry for him for what happened this summer..no its not an anti liverpool rant i also feel sorry for rafa who got most of the flack...i just want barry to show the yanks in charge he was worth buying ..the poor lad put himself out on a limb and got left to rot ..

As a Villa fan all I want him to do is get his head down and play like he did last season, All of this will be forgotten and everyone will move on. The transfer saga has just reinforced my belief that every player should have a 'minimum fee release clause' in their contracts like they do in Spain. All of the Berbatov and Barry nonsense would then not of happened in the first place.

Barry is not worth £18 million. He is 27 and has never played Champions League football. He is a fantastic player but if he was foreign and playing in a foreign league Liverpool would probably of got him for about £7-9 million

Only for 24 hours later for O'Neill to say it may still be on-What a mess!!!

i agree with ya 100% on this one deano!...them americans should be shot in the foot cos that is what they done to the club with that disgusting piece of "business".how many players are going to be so eager to plegde their services to liverpool now when they have seen Barry hung out to dry like that!?..i wouldnt think it will be easy for rafa to convince players that the same wont happen to them when he is trying to get them into anfield!

Disagree. I fail to see how anyone earning more than £50,000 can be a "poor" anything. Poor him, he didn't get a move to a bigger club...he'll have to settle for being worshipped as captain at a smaller club paying him £50,000 a week... (Note the sarcastic tone)

I think some people forget that footballers are living their dreams, being payed huge money to do what they love most. Do you think Barry feels sorry for us who have to live on a normal wage doing a job we hate/don't particularly like? Nope.
