Can i work in Casino (uk) with a common assault conviction?

I have applied to work in casino as a croupier. I have done this job before.

But i recently had a common assault conviction 4 months ago resulting in a fine. The interviewer said it will all depend on the gaming board's decision whether its ok if i can work there. Whats the chances on me getting my old job back?

You shouldn't have a big problem mate, as long as you don't have any more skeletons in your closet.
