Question:

Can ice cream warm you up?

Stupid question, I know. But I'm curious. I know I eat ice cream a ton more when it's cold rather than when it's hot, and I notice after eating it that I'm warmer than I was before eating it. Maybe the body fights extra hard to warm it up since something cold is going into your body? What do you think?

  1. mabey try fried ice cream

  2. Very good question and alot of people don't know what you know.

    Your correct.

The ice cream chills you so when it wears off your body feels warmer.

In the winter hot coffee or cocoa warms you for awhile, then you feel colder then you did before( when it wears off) ( opposite effect).

So really it should be Ice Cream in the winter and hot bev's in the summer ( but it's not).

    go figure?

  3. yes if it is melted

  4. i am not sure about what u say but it cools me

whether it cools orwarmss, it is so deeeeeeelicious

  5. no because its 'ICE" cream

  6. You have a point.  Perfect example.  While serving in Iraq, I noticed that the Iraqis would drink hot tea.  Mind you it's like 120 plus degrees outside during the summer months.  I would see these Iraqi soldiers drinking hot tea.  I asked them why they did this, especially when it was so hot outside.

They said that the tea although hot, makes them sweat which in turn cools their body.  Like a sauna I would imagine.  I tried it once but it didn't exactly work out for this Americanized body of mine. ( ^ _ ^ )
