  1. No? It's ice for Pete's sake! You're not going to grade cheese over it and eat it for dinner. Put in in your water and be grateful.

  2. Ice cubes, no matter what water they are made with, will pick up odors from the freezer after only a few days. What I do is empty the ice trays into a zip lock bag. Ok, so it's easier with an ice dispenser. But unless you use it up quickly, I find that it tastes gamy.

  3. they cannot go "stale" water is water. some is just cleaner than others. if you leave them in the freezer for too long than they will eventually shrink but they cannot go stale like food.

  4. Stale, yes.  But they're not going to make you sick.  They pick up freezer burn and odors just like any other food in the freezer.  That's probably what she means by stale.

  5. nope they dont

  6. not unless you use em

  7. I think it take a couple of years for it to get stale because it is water.

  8. Maybe she means that nasty smell that affects the taste of what you're drinking if you have that ice in your drink.

In my opinion, it is just old ice that smells kind of like fish.
