  1. NO

  2. no i don't think so

  3. NOPE!

  4. It's possible, but unlikely.  At a minimum there will be a 10 year wait before such a person could even file for a waiver.  Depending on the crime a waiver might not even be possible and the ban could be for life.

  5. Immigration law is not set in stone.  Many cases are decided on an individual basis with people evaluating all the different facts of the case.

My wife was an illegal immigrant from West Africa (came in under false identity), and then went to court 1 or 2x trying to pursue a green card under that identity, which also counted as additional crimes.  We had to hire an immigration attorney and after a lot of hard work our attorney eventually was able to get her a green card.  She was told at the time that she would NEVER be eligible for U.S. citizenship; however, 5 or so years ago she applied for U.S. citizenship anyway and they gave it to her.

Don't worry though, my wife doesn't commit any crimes or live off welfare.  In fact, with the taxes coming out of our paychecks, the people on welfare in this country are making out quite nicely.
