Can imagination be used in helping blind people see?

if there was some kind of camera that's connected to the brain! it's a crazy thought but I really want to know weather it could be developed because I might be a doctor one day

Yes, actually, an article was just printed about this in England this month. It's called a Bionic Eye...and it's still being developed.
