I started a new BC pill 3 months ago. This month has been a little off for me, stress wise. Not too bad but more than usual. 6 days before my period I noticed some spotting. It was pinkish, brown, red, brown. It was only when I wiped and it only lasted about a day and half (morning time and before bed).

I am taking my last active pill today and starting the iron pills tomorrow. Last night I was sitting on the couch and felt a little cramping. I went to the restroom and was bleeding. Enough to wear something. I used a tampon and it soaked it. I then used a pad and there is barely anything on it. It lasted for an hour and now its just brown when I wipe. My nipples were a little bit sore but not an aching pain like on my last pill.

Can implantation bleeding be a dark red color, like a period or is it more of a pinkish one or two spots? If this is not implantation bleeding is it normal to bleed like this on a new pill before an actual period? I have been taking my pills at the same time everyday and we have been very careful during s*x. We have also been using a condom.

  1. implantation bleeding is usually light pink or brown and you dont even need a panty liner for it its so light! and is quite rare to! many women just dont get a period atall!!

right,i doubt very much your pregnant, your bleeding like this because of the pills, they either arnt strong enough for you!or you still have to wait for your body to get used to it!

my friend spots, and gets withdrawel bleeds, but she has a low dose pill,i have a mini pill(pop) and havent had a period in 4 months,it really depends on the pill and the person!but your not preggers!

    goodluck x
