Hello, every one, I am an new hand, I want to know whether Intel 845GV chipset support widescreen and where can I download the driver? I running Linux operating system with 2.6 kernel.

  1. Yes, it supports 1440 x 900. Your BIOS might not, however.

    You don't need to download a driver, just modify you /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to add the extra display mode in.
