Can invisalign braces be tighten?

Question

My dad is buying me braces, but i don't know if he is getting me the Metal Braces or The Invisalign Braces, he told my mom on the phone: "Are you going to take him to get his braces tightened? idk if he said in weeks or not.

I DONT WANT METAL BRACES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well if you've met with an orthodontist you would already know. Might I add now-a-days no one gets thier braces 'tightened' just with metal braces they add new wire and a tighet chain of rubberbands. Invisalign is a lot more expensive than regular braces too. Metel braces aren't that bad, Like the whole time I had them I just got silver rubber bands so they wouldn't stand out.

This girl in one of my classes this year had the invisalign and it was gross. You CAN see them and all the spit and bubbles caught in them too.

Either way, having metal braces for two years will be a lot better than having screwed up teeth for the rest of your life. Be thankful your parents want to give up $5000+ for you to have a straight dazzling smile!:]]
