Can it be cancelled?

i have booked 2 seats to delhi . train is on 13 oct. status is conform.i want to cancel one of the seats which i ve booked. the problem is that both the seat are of same pnr no.and two seats in one ticket . can 1 ticket of them be cancellad without hampering to its status.

yes, u can cancel but u hav to be clear which person u are cancelling, name, age ,male / female.

I think the answer is yes.go to the reservation counter,they will deduct some money depending upon the time left to the day of journey.
