Question:

Can it be dangerous to think too much?

I've always been a very deep thinker.

I think way too far into things.

I have trouble falling asleep because my thoughts keep me awake.

I'm very good at solving any type of problem and I'm very open-minded.

I've always considered it a gift, rather than a burden, but lately it's starting to be a real pain. I feel trapped in my own mind.

Will this feeling pass, or is it just going to get worse because of my constant thinking?

    you just got to stop thinking, because you start worrieing about things

  2. When thinking becomes constant and you are unable to sleep for a couple of days it may lead to psychosis, however you sound like a normal, healthy individual.

  3. Not sure it can be dangerous but it sure can take up alot of time.. Am pretty much the same, try getting a hobby you enjoy that involves thinking about other things? like a puzzle book perhaps or just reading takes my mind elsewhere or maybe learn something new

  5. It not healthy to think of loads of things, from what i've heard it can cause a mental illness dont know how this is but its just how the brain is.

    And by thinking loads of things you will worry about tiny things and may cause anxiety.
