Can it detect this??!!? help?

if i requested a urine test becuz i thought i had a urinary tract infection bcuz of pain when i urinated

can they still find bacteria due to a yeast infection even if the dipstick urinalysis was to see if i had UTI ??

(the urine test came negative for a uti)

  2. Yest infections aren't caused by bacteria.  They're caused by yeast.....that's why they're called YEAST infections.  And yeast, specifically Candida, can be found in urine.

    Unfortunately, your question is worded so strangely that I find it confusing.  An office macro unrinanalysis will reveal red and white blood cells if they are present.  A micro urinanalysis run in a lab will reveal even more.  I hope your specimen was sent out.

    I suggest you pursue this with your doctor.  So what did your doctor say when the urine dip came up negative?
