  1. hmm...well, i've never heard of someone dying from a "pop" overdose but all soda-type beverages are quite damaging.

the pH levels in sodas are extremely high.  i know that coke is often used to erode the rust and battery acid off of batteries.  so, you can imagine what it's doing to your stomach.

i saw someone posted this some i'm just editing this in: do not drink milk.  milk was intended to be consumed by calves, not humans.  milk does a body good? bullsh*t!  it will not make your bones stronger.  your body requires magensium to process calcium.  is there magnesium in milk? nope.  so all you are getting from drinking milk is fat, and lots of it....

i would suggest trying to kick the habit or at the very least limiting your consumption.  water and juices are so much better for you.  you'd be surprised how much better your body feels when you diet properly.

  2. it's a myth.  BUT, why not just drink water?  Not sports drinks, not fruit juices, just plain old water.  So much better for you.  Besides, who needs all that artificial sweetner in your body?

  3. just another load-of-c**p rumour.  its absurd.

  4. No!!!!!!! but drink water or something with no carbonation

  5. no

  6. No that's completely absurd

  7. If you're concerned about your health to that extent, I suggest you drink more water, juice, and milk.  Pop, diet or otherwise, contains a lot of things that aren't really good for you over a long period of time.

  8. Here's the facts: diet pops have been around since the 1960's. If for some reason diet pop ate out stomachs, would you really think it would be legal product on the market?

  9. Well that's  myth LOL

  10. Justin,

If you're interested in seeing something awesome, grab a can or bottle of Coke and pour a little on a corroded battery post that you can probably find on your car or your parents car.  The Coke will eat the corrosion right off, so what do you think it can do in your stomach?  Most people would like to think that all soft drinks are safe because they taste good, when logic proves that soft drinks are filled with ingredients that do NOT occur naturally...they're man-made.  That being said, Coke (diet or not) is probably ok in small doses, but I wouldn't personally drink more than one or two per day considering there is no point in putting that stress on your body when you can drink water, milk, tea, and other things that are safer for you.

  11. It probably won't eat your belly, but the chemicals that are in diet pop really aren't that good for you.  I sometimes drink too much diet pop and I find that it screws up my digestive system - especially cola.  You're better off with a juice or water.
