Can it wait two weeks?

Awhile ago, my baby head butted me, and I broke a tooth. And didnt go to the dentist right away because I was breastfeeding and didn't want that to interfere.

Anyway, when I finally did go to the dentist, he told me I may need to get it pulled or have a root canal. But hes going to give it some medicine, and see how it progresses and in two months have a check up.

Well I am on summer vacation over seas. And my tooth is killing me. And I had the worse back pain the other night too. I dont feel comfortable seeing a dentist here since they may not speak the best english, and god knows how much it will end up costing me.

We return in 2 weeks, can it wait... or should I go immeadately?

  1. i would say go imediatley.

it doesn't matter how much it will cost you,

as long as its not ridiculously over priced.

just ask how much it will cost  when you get there,

    iffff you can.

if it's hurting you that badly,

its going to be worth it to not have

    pain on your vacation.

the back pain may not be related

to the tooth. it could just be stress.

good luck and i hope you stop hurtinggg!

    :)

  2. Hello, First let me assure you that there are some fine Dentist in other countries. You may be happily surprised at the cost..In some countries the cost of quality dental services is far lees than the same service cost her in the US...As for seeing one ASAP...that would be a good idea because if you have an abscess working two things are possible...if your still breast feeding an abscess can put infection into your blood stream and that might possibly be an issue for your baby. Also, if an abscess is working it just might go really bad when you can't get to a dentist any time soon and the pain could be a real issue to deal with...Good luck and I wish you well.
