  1. im not sure, if you do it enough i would assume it could help your footwork...and obviously cardio...but not sure about reaction time...


  2. I'm a martial artist and a competitive swimmer. For Martial arts it's good to react quick, and also for swimming so you can immediately dive off the block when the starter shoots the gun. I found this thing on a website that has a black box, and when the box changes color you click it. It helps your reaction time. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the website. I used to always find it from my history, but it went away because I hadn't visited it in awhile. But I'm sure there are other things like that.

  3. no - you can time a jumprope - since the speed of the rope is controlled by you it will not help your reaction speed.  It will help with cardio and with lightness on your feet (that's why so many boxers skip rope).

    To work on reactions try the double-end bag, partner drills, and slip bag drills.

  4. No but it will improve stamina,for training in quick reactions out with martial arts try learning to Juggle :)***
