  1. Yes, of course. Knowing the roots of these inequalities will help improve race and ethnic relations. By being knowledgeable of the causes of these problems, better solutions can be made to address these.

  2. NO! Racial and ethnic inequalities are generally the product of human discrimination and are rooted in deep cultural traditions. Knowledge of their origns is not the cure for the problem. Knowledge of their hurtfulness and uselessness in the scheme of harmonious human interaction is a much better thing to pursue.

The BETTER and more intimately you know your neighbor, the harder it is to foist cruel and unnessesary pain upon him. This is the knowledge that should be sought.

  3. NO adopting the knowledge that there are undoubted differences between races and ethnicities, but that none of these makes anyone "better or worse" is better in improving our relations with one another.  Variety is the spice of life and was never meant to be a dividing point between humanity.

  4. Not really. It might even deepen the conflicts.

  5. no ,atoning for the sins of the father is a good start
