Or any other sugery?

I am short sighted, -2.75 in both eyes, because my eyes are misshapen.

I am sick of glasses and contacts!

  1. I had laser correction surgery 2months ago and it was a complete success. You prescription falls within the acceptable range.

I am so glad I had it done and would definitely recommend it to anyone.  My vision became clear after around 2-3days after surgery and I had no problems whatsoever.

I'd say go for it -go for a consultation first and see where you stand (I had mine done through Optical Express and they are excellent plus the aftercare is second to none).

  2. It can, if your corneas are thick enough.  The screening is free (in the US) you should go find out for sure.

  3. On paper, your prescription is correctable with laser surgery.  There are other factors that must be considered for you to be deemed a candidate.  Many places provide a complimentary consultation with respect to laser surgery.  Research your surgeon of choice and don't be afraid to get more than one opinion.  If one tells you not to have it, then don't.  It's not worth risking turning out worse off than when you started.

I had the surgery 10 years ago and I was a -5.75....I'm still pleased with it....
