NO. As long as it is only 1 or 2 drops. My question is why are you wanting to drink Lavender oil? If you want it to help you sleep, put a drop on each temple or directly under your nose. If you want to make your breath smell better or use as an antiseptic mouthwash I would suggest using pure peppermint essential oil. If you are going to use Lavender oil for any therapeutic purpose use only Lavendula officinalis or augustifilia, any other Lavender oil is for potpourri or soap making.  Always check for purity.

If it is put into their drink, it becomes diluted and is no longer pure. Not much danger.
