Can laxatives get me fired?

Question

Alright, at work, people keep eating my food. Just yesterday someone stole my brand new bag of sunflower seeds. normally people take some and i dont mind, and other people bring in sunflower seeds and share and its no problem. But someone took my brand new bag and that pisses me off.

Now i have an idea, bought me a new bag of sunflower seeds, and am planning to mix in some crushes laxatives in and Clearly label the bag as mine "do not touch".

So the question is, can i get into **** for this? I dont see how i would, laxatives arent illegal and the bag will be clearly labeled as mine and no one should eat it. I just think some people need to be taught a lesson

Not only can you get fired for that but they could press criminal charges against you .

--But I'm guessing you're all at the maturity level of an eight year old..so they'll probably do something even more moronic to  you as revenge

I've done it, didn't get fired.  Just don't tell anybody that your doing it.  Have a camera for someone who go's in and out all day.  Good myspace blog material.

if anyone gets in trouble, it should be the people taking your stuff. its called theft and they  could get fired. just place a camera over by your food and sees what happens

Funniest thing i read all day, but it depends on 1. your boss. 2. your coworkers sense of humor. and 3. allergies.  in short, yea you'll get fired for intentionally poisoning people. Maybe jail time too if they really wanted to too. but if its just sunflower seeds stick to the lil 50cent bags and keep them on you!

Yes.  Even though it's labeled such you could still get in trouble.  There have been real cases where people have repeatedly been burglarized, they set up a trap or something to harm or "punish" the burglar only to be charged with a crime.  It seems somewhat ridiculous but sometimes people don't have as much right to protect what is theres as you would think.

Added:  A possible work around might be to clearly label that the bag has laxatives crushed inside.  Not real small, but maybe the same size as your Do Not Eat.  You could say you need them for your irregular bowel!
