Can lifting a 25 pound dumbbell make my skinny arms bigger and more muscular?

By the way, if it's possible, how many reps should I do for any exercsie?

  1. assuming your resting/eating healthily and performing adequate reps correctly.


  2. deffinitally. if you CAN lift the 25 comfotably use it, but if not find one that you can lift without killing your self. each time you work out you should do 3 sets of 15 or 20. forst do what they call hammersas of your arm was a hammer and the bumbell was the head of the hammer. the do some curling which is when you hold to to weights together and curl it like its one bog weight then do the exact oposite of that so your knuckles are facing in, this workout will help your triceps, biceps, forarms and pecks. trust me, after a a week youll see results and after a month you arms will deffinitally be bigger and stronger. also try to have your back against a wall when doing thes excersises because it will prevent you back muscles from helping at all and stricktly work your arms.

  3. If you have skinny arms don't start with 25 start with 10 and work up to 25. If you do it every day you will have some nice guns trust me I do. Do 30 - 50 reps per arm, rest for 5-10 min. and then do it again. Start lighter and do more reps. As you go heavier do less reps.
