  2. Yip I have seen it happen on Agua-Fuego volcanos in El Salvador...  Lightning can of course repeatedly strike ..   just I marvelled at that particular show.

  3. O ya ..... example a lightning rod.  also trees, Oaks tend to be taller than the surrounding trees, thus attracting the lightning. They also have a high moisture content, which increases their ability to conduct the surge of electricity.
