Can lime be used indoors as well as outdoors?

Have ant problem inside house. Sprinkled lime around house perimeter on the outside. Can lime be used indoors to fight off the antsS

I am not a expert on lime but I don't think it will ward off ants. Lime is normally used to "sweeten the soil" or neutralize acidic soils. I think Seven Dust would work better indoors and outside for ant control, just be aware it may not be good for pets to get into it.
