  1. Love can bring you happiness. But ETERNAL happiness? I'm not sure anything can bring permanent happiness. I don't think human beings are designed to be happy all the time. You need moments of unhappiness in order to appreciate the moments of happiness.

  2. Yes. Unconditional love with your soul-mate can give you eternal happiness.

  3. Happiness comes from the sense that you are succeeding at what you are suppose to be doing.

Love is considering the self interest of another as if it were your own.

Love is what allows us to form couples, groups & nations.  It allows group action to the end of increasing the chance you will be able to make a living & raise a family.   Which is what most people think they are 'suppose' to doing.

    Hence love facilitates happiness.

But the 'eternal' line is non-sense.   As we are mortal, so must be our love & happiness.

  4. "Yes, true love, selfless love, Love of God the source of all love."

Bloody h**l, everywhere I turn tonight there are jesus freaks.

In answer to your question though, I'm not sure. I'm not in love, nor have I ever been.

I think love can be good and bad though, depending which side of it you're on.

  5. True love does not always "give" you happiness.  Most of the time, people who are truly in love with someone are happy, but there are still times of dissapointment, disagreeing, frustration, etc.  Couples who truly love each other stay together through the tough spots though.  Love is about more than just emotions, it's about commitment and is a concious choice.  Sometimes, the tough spots strenghten a relationship.  When you don't let petty stuff that won't matter in a few years (and will probably be forgotten) split you up, you find that life together is even better on the other side of it.

The key to staying happy as much as possible in a relationship is in YOU, not the other person.  You have to decide every day to respect, nurture and be a servant to the other person.  If you approach a relationship with a servant's heart and do all you can to help and please the other person, your relationship with them will grow.  The times when you are selfish and selfcentered are the times that lead to problems.

Another helpful thing is to remember that neither of you are perfect and flawless.  You are both human beings with quirks, mannerisms, habits, etc.  Don't be so hard on yourself nor on your partner.

Avoid fighting as much as possible.  Most of the time, a compromise can be reached without fighting at all.  It goes back to being humble and not selfish.  The less selfcentered you are, the less you will fight about stuff.

Now, if your partner sees the relationship the same way and has a servant's heart too and respects you too, you'll get all you want and more out of the relationship without having to ask most of the time.  Just be appreciative of whatever you get and give of yourself freely.

That's real love and real happiness.

  6. People fighting about love is just very normal..Though truly love mainly helps. If trials ruined love then it is not real love at all. Even though but then to learn rebuild from ruinings could emerge a stronger love. As it is always forgiving. What becomes beautiful about it. Is that when love is tried from many challenges, It then becomes mightier.

Then love can possibly cross in any road it takes and give genuine eternal happiness..

  7. Yes, true love, selfless love, Love of God the source of all love.

  8. love can't do everything. :(

but your not alone if you love someone, or someone loves you :D

(the 1st ansewr is right, i forgot about love from God) lol

  9. as long love is around, there is happiness too.. so the answer to your question (at least my answer) is yes.... only if love lasts.

  10. G Happiness is defined by you.
