  1. If you mean medically, then yes it is proven (though the how is disputed) that a person's psychological state (happy, optimistic, depressed... ) affects his physical health and his response to treatment.

If you mean emotionally, then also yes as a real and mutual love can really undo a lifetime of hardship. People have short memories and all their past is forgotten when they are happily blessed with love.

  2. Only TRUE love heals truely. Well, heals what? You didn't mention any hints! In fact love truely heals 'love-related pains'----not skin-disease or piles or gout. Sometimes LOVE minimises the pain of cancer even----that's related to love also. Being a cancer-patient, I won't feel being healed with the love of the attending nurse! Rather, if a truly friend comes with true love to say few words, that might heal enough pain, I suppose.

  3. The hunger for love is much more difficult to remove than the hunger for bread.

  4. NO.

    it truly hurts.

    love

    Pluto

  5. yes if you truly love...

  6. ...only LOVE can mend a broken heart...YES...

  7. Without a doubt. I have been a heart patient for 25 years and I know that it is my Love of my wife and my duty to life and God that has kept me here and producing those things which I find of greatest value. It happens with the presence of strong, dominant, and living faith in the heart of all who persistently seak healing, together with the fact that such healing is desired for its spiritual benefits rather than for purely physical restoration.

P.1669 - §7 It is, then, our opinion that, in the personal presence of Jesus, certain forms of profound human faith were literally and truly compelling in the manifestation of healing by certain creative forces and personalities of the universe who were at that time so intimately associated with the Son of Man. It therefore becomes a fact of record that Jesus did frequently suffer men to heal themselves in his presence by their powerful, personal faith.

  8. Yes, but hate can, too.     It can make one determined to heal and get revenge on whoever committed the injury in the first place.

  9. Up to some degree, yes. But mostly it's understanding, trust, communication and forgiveness, that heals.

  10. no, i don't think love can truly heal, i think that with time it is easier to deal with, because remember your first love, you will always have a place in your heart for them no matter what

  11. My father passed away 10 years ago.  I found him dead.  The doctors never found anything wrong with him.  I believe he died from a broken heart.  My mother had left to be with another man and this devastated my father.  He was never the same.  Within six months, he was gone.  So in answer to your question, if my dad died of a broken heart, my mother's love would have healed him.

  12. Love shouldn't hurt.  It can hurt when a loved one acts badly, but love in itself is a great healer.  If you personify love then you will get hurt...  If that makes any sense...

  13. Best not to ask if it can heal for that would suggest that love is an affliction.

In some cases it can be but the term of love is far too broad to categorize it so negatively.

Love is love. Inexplicable and ever changing.

  14. Love with devotion heals all wounds.
