Can male Marines wear earings out of uniform?

Question

I was talking to a Marine Reserve the other day and he had this earing on so I questioned him about if they changed the regulations like the Army and Navy. He really didnt answer the question so I believe that it was probably unathorized,

Does anyone know the Regulation?

Well I would say that is why reservist are reservist..

ALL Marines are NOT supposed to wear c**p like earings and he knows this. He can and should be punished..But since he is a nasty reservist he feels he can do as he pleases..

Tell him LAVADOG said hes lacking in integrity and he needs to learn to be a Marine..Part of being a Marine is following the rules even when no one is watching..Hes disrespecting the Eagle Globe and Anchor and hes not saying much about his character..

The 36 regulations — which provide guidance on old standards and spell out new ones — went through a nearly yearlong gantlet of review boards and surveys. Commandant Gen. James Conway signed off on the new regs July 11, making them effective from that date, although they weren’t announced until Wednesday.

The Corps already banned male Marines from wearing earrings in uniform but has now officially forbidden wearing them in civvies. Previously, it was just assumed the ban in uniform would carry over, but it was never officially addressed, Boyt said. The reg also specifies that female Marines may wear only one earring per ear in both uniform and civvies

I know in the AF men cannot wear them on base (uniform or not), but they can off base when they are out of uniform.

you can wear female clothing and be a drag queen for all they care...but USMC regs states that you're not suppose to do it at any time but you can do it just dont do it on base thats when they get really stupid when you do it on base...just remember as soon as you come through that gate its on like donkey kong
