Can many Liberal Dems be considered rac!st because they have low expectations of minority groups to achieve?

Instead of having faith that they can compete with everyone else to improve their lot and showing them how to compete, Liberals would rather give handouts in exchange for votes.

Yes. The same applies to the Dems insisting on bi-lingual education. It only serves to make sure those immigrants always have low paying jobs. I'm second generation American of Russian descent. My parents insisted we only speak English now that we are Americans. I graduated from Penn State and have a great career. If I would have been encouraged to speak Russian, I would be a housekeeper in a hotel today.

It's the soft racism of low expectations.  

When I hear the words affirmative action my first thought is how cruel and condescending it is.  Telling someone they can't achieve without a pandering leftist hand and lowering the bar for them so they can spend four years in college and emerge unable to compete in the real world.

The programs of the Democrats are always to help Americans who are downtrodden to get up on their feet and be self-sustaining again.

Also, they have been always pro-working Americans, at the same time giving incentives to corporations who generates jobs within America.

Contrast that to the GOPs: pro-corrupt corporations, pro-outsourcing, pro-shady deals with Halliburton et al, ...overall pro-everything UnAmerican.

Actually it is racism of sorts. They are following a particular stereotype of a minority and exploiting that for their own means.

They have a tendency to promote, minority programs with the premise that if you are a minority, then you must be ignorant and therefore, need them to come to the rescue.

Its the "knight in shining armor" trying to rescue a self sufficient princess.  Here give up your own dreams, ambitions, and ideas, you are a woman therefore you must be ignorant and need my guidance.

The princess doesn't need rescuing and neither does the minority.

Well after the minority groups are lacking opportunity because of a failure in trickle down supply side Republican economics you have to move to a survival plan. The "handouts" help keep them from making the survival instinct decision to steel to survive. The cure to less handouts is a job but with insane Republican trade agreements and Reagan lifting tariffs that encourage companies to search the globe for cheap labor welfare takes up the slack.

Great question-The libs treat minorities like little children that have to be controlled and "parented"......in exchange they get their votes.
