  1. Probably not. The White Sox's starting rotation is already going well. And even if they really did need a starting pitcher, Nick Masset, Adam Russell, or some minor league prospects like Aaron Poreda and Lance Broadway can start.

    nick masset is more likely to be a starting pitcher in the future

  3. The Sox wouldn't do that. We have a great pitching staff this year with young guys in Danks and Floyd. Thornton is a great middle reliever with great velocity and great for coming in to get a tough out, but I can't see him throwing more than 4 innings.
