  1. If it is a tear or a part that is broken then surgery is a must.  If it is a bruise or infection then surgery is possibly a must.  That is not a very blood rich area so healing takes a long time.


  2. The best way is to have an MRI then have an orthopedic surgeon read it to verify it is in fact torn. if it is, then surgery is the only alternative.

    I had the surgery and it wasnt so bad, It a same day surgery and your off your feet for about 3-5 days.
