Don't make guesses please. I know what melatonin is and does, but I am experiencing something unusal and am looking for someone in that field to answer only. I appreciate your interest and don't mean to be mean, I just want an academic answer.

  1. What are you looking to do?

Be careful with Melatonin; 3g per day is TOO much.

Why are you taking it in the first place?

  2. No. Melatonin is not chemically significant to your hormone production or ratios.

That said, getting restful sleep does boost hormone production, and melatonin is proven to provide that.

So boost to the normal baseline, mabey, overproduce ? not a chance.
