Can members access the Yahoogroup web site invite botton?

Question

I only see the invite link on my Yahoogroup's web site

when I sign in using my moderator email address.

Can I change settings so group members can click on and

use the group invite link, or is it for moderators only?

Do moderators ask groups to put the promote button they

see on their own web site? I haven't been asked to promote

any group I joined. If members do promote, how is it done?

the invite is only available to owners and mods, the promote tab can be available to members.

generally speaking, you cant put the promote tab from one group to another group you don't own unless you ask, and that owner would have to add it due to you not having access to their group settings.

members can promote groups they're in by adding the URL to their profiles and mail signatures
