Can men be Girl Scout leaders?

It is a great idea! It shows that they value Girl Scouts too. We have a couple of great guys leading troops.

Note: It is a rule (in our handbook, Safety Wise) that there needs to be a non-related adult female in the leadership team.

Also, for both males and females: No adult is supposed to be alone with any Girl Scout(s). There should be two non-related (and not in the same household) adults present at all times.

No.  But dads are great for helping out with carrying the gear for camping.  Or like my dad and my best friends dad they were firefighters and they came to scout meetings alot to teach us some really interesting things about safety.  And they also did the cookouts.
