Question:

Can men really grow taller past the age of 21?

My brother who is 24 years old and a half just grew 1.5 inches. He previously was 5'10.5 barefoot and is now 6'0 feet barefoot.

I know this because he had physical last year and he was measured barefoot, and he just had the physical again. They measure you accurately so it's not bogus. I'm kinda stunned.

So with that said at what point do men stop completely growing?

  1. Us late bloomers do - and I grew well into my 20's. I don't understand why some people try to make it sound like there's a definite cut-off age for growth.

  2. some men grow taller past the age of 21 only if they hit puberty late but it's very rare your brother must have hit puberty late he must have started at 17 if hes 24 years old and has grown 1.5 inches that means he was 5ft 10 1/2in before and now hes 6ft barefoot

  3. early 20s

  4. It's uncommon, but there are stories of guys who grew even into their late 20s.

I am 23 now, and when i turned 22, i started growing again.  I was 6'2", and now i'm 6'10" and still growing fast.  personal experience, men can still grow after the age of 21.

  5. its rare, but i'm sure you can!
