  1. of course, especially with single, older women...or g*y men.


  2. It's certainly tough being a male in this field.  This is one of the few fields in which someone can legally deny doing business with you because of your gender. There's a good bit of discrimination that occurs, but because it's legal, thems the breaks.

    However, males can succeed, but it takes much work.  Usual marketing methods don't work.  Direct word-of-mouth referrals work best. If someone recommends a male therapist, it's like there's a silent stamp of approval. "Besides giving you a good massage-he's not g*y or going to rape you".

    It's taken me a while to get a good practice going, but after 4 years I am now fully booked each week.
